Remark

Many of these notes were stolen in a burglary on 22.12.2004.

Altogether £ 22 million were stolen, of which £ 12 million were notes of Northern Bank (The notes of the remaining £ 10 million have never been specified or the information was at least never published).
Northern Bank subsequently decided to replace all its notes with new ones of modified colors and the Bank name in italic.
The new series are dated 19.01.2005 and were released into circulation on 12.03.2005.
