SWEDEN

Value

1 Krona

Issued by

Sveriges Riksbank

Date

1914-1940

Remark

Nicknamed "Kotia" ("Cow Ten Kronor")
In the cattle trade payments were usually made with 10 Kronor notes. After re-introduction of the 1 Krona note during WWI (the last 1 Krona notes were issued in 1875) these were not immediately known and common in all parts of the kingdom and thus often confused with the 10 Kronor note.
